What is Karaoke Music?

Karaoke is a form of interactive entertainment or video game in which amateur singers sing along with recorded music (and/or a music video ) using a microphone and public address system. The music is typically a well-known pop song minus the lead vocal. Lyrics are usually displayed on a video screen, along with a moving symbol or changing color and/or music video images, to guide the singer. In some countries, a karaoke box is called a KTV. It is also a term used by recording engineers translated as "empty track" meaning there is no vocal track.

Learning what note each line and space are will have you reading music notes on staff quickly. Brand New Blues Course The staff consists of 4 spaces and 5 lines. The musical alphabet is A-B-C-D-E-F-G thats it. There are flats and sharps we'll learn about later. bass-clef-symbol-2.gif Treble or G Clef Staff A clef sign tells you what pitch the music is written in. The treble clef is used for singing and many musical instruments. The spaces spell face from the bottom up. This will be known as an F major 7th arpeggio later on. There was a saying for the lines to help remember this by reading from the bottom up - Every Good Boy Does Fine. In both cases what you are doing is skipping a note. A to C, B to D, C to E and so on.
